Arlington Riverside Business Partnership
Businesses Building a Strong Community
Arlington Business Partnership
Arlington, one of Riverside’s original neighborhoods, still retains a village character that harkens back to the community’s founding in 1875.
Arlington was “The City within a City” when it combined with the Riverside Colony to form the City of Riverside in 1883.
The Arlington Business Partnership is responsible for the community and promoting the economy and beautification of the Arlington Business District, thus creating a sense of pride for all who live, work and conduct business in Arlington.
The Arlington Business Partnership envisions our community as an attractive historic destination for unique shopping, dining and retail services.
Great strides have been taken to revitalize this unique and historically significant neighborhood. One of our more successful tools has been the PHYSICAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM GRANT.
The Arlington Business Partnership offers these grants to property owners and business owners as an economic incentive to enhance existing commercial structures.
A qualified businesses owner or property owner may receive a grant for 50% of the total cost of eligible improvements up to $1,000 each fiscal year.
The Arlington Business Partnership helps bring publicity to new businesses with Grand Opening Assistance. This helps bring new customers to our community and helps local business owners get to know each other.
We are very proud of our branding success with monument signs which welcome people to our business district.
Local artists have been commissioned to create murals to make neighborhoods look more appealing while we wait for new businesses to open.
Stylish and modern bus shelters are proven to communicate a community’s commitment to aesthetics and modernization.
The Arlington Business Partnership has constructed new bus shelters on the busiest traffic areas in our community.
The Arlington Annual Chili Cook-Off and Car/Cycle Show is one of Riverside’s largest community events that continues to grow year-after-year drawing thousands of attendees from all over the Inland Empire contributing to a substantial economic impact.
The event is held along a mile long stretch of Magnolia Avenue. Community members from across the Inland Empire cast votes in The Press Enterprise’s Best of the Inland Empire Reader’s Choice Awards and have voted Arlington Business Partnership’s Chili Cook-off & Car/Cycle Show a Hometown Favorite as the Best Community Event.
Enjoy snow sledding with over 55+ tons of snow. The Winter Wonderland event is sponsored by the Arlington Business Partnership and attracts 5,000 individuals featuring festive and free activities, crafts, entertainment, prizes and photos with Santa,

You will be invited to our monthly meetings, vote on important matters for our community and maybe even serve as a board member.
