The 2019 Association of Club Catering Professionals National Conference in the gorgeous Rocky Mountains at The Broadmoor Resort in Colorado was a smashing success! For those of you who were able to attend, I think you will agree that this one was truly special – from the Rocky Mountain Welcome Party at Cheyenne Lodge with Tomahawk throwing overlooking the gorgeous views, to the inspiring and tear-jerking dinner at the US Olympic Training Center where our attendees were treated to stories by the athletes of their journey to make it to the Olympics, a performance by the Men’s US Olympic Gymnastics Team (WOW!) and finally, an emotional, final surprise when we all got to pass the Olympic torch while the Olympic Anthem blared, from one attendee to the next until every single one had passed it all the way up to light the giant Olympic Cauldron! It was quite a moment! Our speakers were total rock stars this year and provided incredible education and interactive workshops. Our closing session culminated with the much-anticipated announcement of the 2020 National Conference location… (drumroll…) The Fairmont Miramar Hotel in Santa Monica, CA! We will also spend one day in downtown Los Angeles at the amazing Jonathan Club! We are thrilled and so are the attendees!
